This was the first small study I did as an idea. The client had really loved the painting I did called The New Queen, and wanted something in a similar theme. In fact, he liked this study enough that it is now the basis for the final painting. (12/31/07) (CLICK ON IMAGE FOR LARGER VIEW)
For my current commission, my client wished to have a painting done of both his past and current Siamese cats. The top show his departed Aja, Akasha, and Bangkok. Louis and Marius are his too current meezer boys on the bottom.

Once I got started on the final, I pretty much worked right through to the end, so this time I have no photos of the interim stages. Sometimes I just get on a roll. I'm particularly fond of this one. Titled The Coburn Felines: Through the Generations, it explores a similar theme to my previous painting, The New Queen.
